New Year, New Smile... New Marketing Approach?

New Year, New Smile... New Marketing Approach?

Happy New Year!

Is it just us, or did 2019 literally fly by?

January is a super exciting time because you and your dental practice are getting a fresh start! Now is the time to review the mistakes from last year and overall re-evaluate your goals as a practice.

Some of your goals may look like more marketing, an increase in new patient appointments, focusing on reappointing hygiene or promoting a specific service. All of these are great ways to promote growth in your office.

Here are some excellent resources that can give you some ideas to get the ball rolling.

First, grab the FREE monthly content checklist. There is a new list for every month so be sure to set yourself a reminder to come back often to jumpstart your marketing efforts.

You will notice the content checklist highlights major monthly focuses and several internal marketing ideas to really personalize your social media and stand out locally. If marketing is really not in your scope, know that we offer a crash course that anyone can understand along with a calendar for 2020 that includes images, social post ideas for 366 days, along with marketing and email ideas.

If you don’t have an email campaign in place, start. This is a great way to communicate with your existing patients and really keep them in the loop with dental education and practice specific events and promotions.

On the hygiene side, start the year off right with APPOINTING recall visits prior to the patient leaving the office. Rather than asking, “Would you like for us to set up your next dental visit?” Say,” Your next hygiene visit is due in {this month} do you have a day or time that will work best for you?” Most of the time the patient will go ahead and schedule, if they don’t there’s usually an explanation, such as relocating, vacationing, or change in insurance.

Another monthly focus could be New Year New Smile. With this campaign you should be promoting new smiles with restorative work and cosmetic services. This would also be the time to remind your patients that most dental insurance benefits have reset, now is the time to create a plan to maximize their savings and time!

The content checklist will offer more details including monthly awareness days, holidays and more. Don’t forget to check out the 2020 DONE FOR YOU Social Calendar (365+ days of content + hundreds of images, quotes, and tips) and the Dental Marketing 101 Crash Course if you really want to be more plentiful in your marketing and see more results within your practice.
